eclipse-rpm-editor software package provides Editor for RPM .spec files integrated into Eclipse, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-rpm-editor
eclipse-rpm-editor is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-rpm-editor package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-rpm-editor *
You will get with eclipse-rpm-editor package name, version, architecture and description in a table
